| Vulcanised is how the sole is attached. Its glued in basically, rather than sewn. Vulcs tend to be a bit flexier, and IMO, nicer to skate in, but they dont last as long as cupsoles. |

| yeah, and there are some vulcanized shoes such as the DC Pure SE'S That dont rip, but thats all in the upper, and they also have te DGT sole which isn't really all that durable, but its really grippy. But the ting about cupsoles is that they tend to be kinda to very stiff, and really influence how the board feels, and thus how you skate in them, like I am a big vulcanized kinda person, cuz I like board feel. Cupsoles are good for gaps and drops though, cuz they normally offer protection. |
