Latin America doesn't need anymore "Free Trade" agreements prescribed by Washington, mr Figueres. We've already seen what those entail and it has very little to do with free trade. LA better off promoting regional integration through alternatives like ALBA/UNASUR, organizations which actually have some transparency and public participation - unlike the "fast track" agreements endorsed by US which have to be rammed down the collective throats of small countries and are catered to multinationals.

Costa Rica (Central America) would be affected, not South America. They should have interviewed a person that knows more about South America, its politics and economy.
