Combinations of hand-drawn and CGI can be effective, if they're combined effectively and not just thrown together at random. I've seen plenty of computer-animated films that are brilliant; my point isn't that old hand-animated films are the only good films out there, it's that hand-drawn animation used to be a lot more artistic than it is today.

Just to let you know, Firebird actually starts when she touches the rock/man inside the volcano at about 2:41. I don't think stravinsky wrote the music before that.

this is funny
because fire bird is a pheonix in mythology
and the video is about life, death and rebirth....wich would be what a pheonix is know to do.....live, go up in flames and die...then it is reborn from the ashes of its formal self to start over again
